Formed in 2018, Medmin started with a single clinician and his medical secretary.
A founders group was assembled in 2021 and the company pivoted to a new model of Total Practice Management, providing all the services clinicians needed to operate a successful private practice.
Our Network
We now have over 50 clinicians signed up in twelve LLPs covering ;
General/Abdominal, Urology, Women’s Health, ENT, Liver, Ophthalmology, Thyroid, Head and Neck and Orthopaedics.
All our clinicians have busy NHS practices, many also have academic interests as well, regularly publishing and undertaking research in a variety of specialist fields. We work with the brightest and the best, ensuring that their time is used as efficiently as possible.
The sector is moving rapidly from one largely dominated by the big private medical insurers, to a landscape with increasing numbers of self-pay patients, anxious about their condition and with the savings to pay for treatment..
Private health in the UK is at a crossroads, efficiency, expediency and access to expertise will shape the way that people access elective surgery over the coming years.
Medmin is ideally positioned to be a part of the coming shift in provision.

The management and board are drawn from the fields of medicine, marketing, public health, legal and finance.
They have come together with a shared vision to transform the sector, improving outcomes for patients and the clinicians that treat them.
